Good morning. Common enough bird here in the #Gambia Bronze Manikin taken recently nature trail Kotu. Was going to put a single bird tight crop on, but decided to get the flock instead.

Have been trying for a male Northern Red Bishop in breeding plumage for a while, finally got one yesterday at Kartong on the #Gambia southern border. Bird was ringed probably from Kartong bird observatory.

Good morning. Trip to Tanji fishing village yesterday. Not sure if these birds are residents here. Two Bar T Godwits, Whimbrel, Ruddy Turnstone,Caspian Tern, & about 200 Sanderlings. Great watching them scurrying along the beach.
