The briefing against JSL from within has begun. Easy get out for Shi on Monday night now if they do sell. ‘I said he wasn’t for sale the other day but he went on strike, so in the end we had no choice but to move on’.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is not at the Wolves team hotel this evening and is expected to miss the game against Everton tomorrow. In today’s press conference Vitor Pereira cast doubt on Larsen’s involvement due to an achilles issue. #wwfc.

If Tuchel turns out to be the modern day Capello & England flop in USA there will be a rush to say ‘should have stuck with Southgate’ when maybe it was just ‘should have chosen a better fit than Tuchel’. But early for this chat but like the Pet Shop Boys,this is always on my mind.

The other thing on JSL is Newcastle need to be aware the price today may not be the price tomorrow. Closer we get to deadline the more we'll be squeezed on a replacement's price & that is passed on. Pass any increase on to Liverpool yourselves if you want/can. Isn't our problem.

Sport sometimes has mindless rules which serve no purpose and no one thinks to challenge and remove. The idea that someone playing last night in the second round of the Carabao Cup shouldn’t be allowed to play in, say, a quarter final for his new club in December is batshit.

Only 5-6 months ago the fanbase was split on whether to pay the £20m or so to make JSL permanent. Now he’s not for sale at any price! People call Jeff clueless (may be right) but then can’t take avoid having knee jerk views of their own.

If your argument against 1. Is ‘yeah but I don’t trust them to reinvest properly’ that’s understandable but then there’s no point in any of it. At almost any club, it all relies on buying & selling at the right price. If we can’t then it ends in tears eventually whatever happens.

1. Two goals can’t alter views on value. If he’s worth £65m yesterday he’s worth £65m now. Sell if right price,reinvest properly,nothing changed. 2. New KO music doesn’t work if silent. But old one was tired,it needs a run of games to build participation. Stick with for 6-8 games.

Presumably he still goes somewhere else / has no interest in Wolves but Sorloth is still available and starts for Norway ahead of JSL. You’d at least enquire about possibilities of a deal/loan for a player who in theory is an upgrade wouldn’t you?.

Very interesting one. Always hard to judge Getafe players given their rather unique style of play but he does seem very talented. More a 10 than a 9, so wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) be the JSL replacement. Still can’t imagine Newcastle will pay £60m for JSL anyway.
