💡 Optimising theatre ventilation to cut emissions @nhsswft’s Theatres Team is improving efficiency by automating ventilation switch-off overnight when theatres aren’t in use, reducing energy waste and costs. 💚 Up to 45,513 kgCO2e saved annually—equal to 134,102 miles driven! 💚

As part of the ongoing decarbonisation works at Warwick Hospital, the heating system has now been filled and will be commissioned over the next few weeks. This move to air and water source heat pumps is a significant step towards the NHS England target to be Net Zero by 2040.
