Today I worked alongside @nhesinstruction in 1st grade. Students were active listeners and participated in productive peer-to-peer conversations about the Aztec’s Legend of the Eagle & the Serpent. The lesson included explicit phonics, partner reading, and collaborative writing!

2nd Grade recently learned about Chinese New Year and ancient Asian civilizations in their CKLA unit and celebrated Chinese New Year today! Students learned about traditions, tried various foods, learned how to use chopsticks, read books, and much more! #PowerUpMCSS @NHESPK6
