Sometimes you need to delete chunks of multiple lines at once. The :g command got your back. Earlier I needed to delete the `rescue StandardError` line PLUS the following empty string ''. To do this in one swoop, run: :g/rescue StandardError/.,+1 d #vim

#TipOfDay Pressing gv will reselect the last selection in #VIM This comes handy when you made visual selection and accidentally got unselected. Then pressing gv will reselect last selection.

just noticed that yesterday my business ( https://t.co/5RKYd4aIsg) reached $500,000 (CAD 🇨🇦) in lifetime sales! would really have never believed this was possible when I made my first zine in 2015 or when I started selling them in 2017, thank you all so much for the support ❤

In #vim, we can reselect last Visual Selection using `gv` in normal mode. Try this on Normal mode: <shift>+V |--- select Line jjj |--- select 3 line downwards <Esc> |--- Switch to Normal mode gv |--- Reselect last visual selection

We can open file with cursor at specific position in #Vim . All we have to do is pass +{lineNumer} while opening file. e.g. vim filename.txt +5, vim will open filename.txt and place cursor at first word of line 5. #editor #reactjs #javascript #webdeveloper #ide
