@PhilMurphyNJ, stop gaslighting America. Senator Padilla wasn’t “detained”—he interfered with a lawful federal operation and got handled like anyone else would. Being elected doesn’t make you untouchable. What’s truly abhorrent is your defense of disorder over duty.
The footage of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla being physically restrained and detained by ICE agents is abhorrent and completely unacceptable. He is a duly-elected U.S. Senator who represents nearly 40 million Californians. He has every right to engage with Secretary Noem and DHS.
