Today the Sunday returned from @PenningtonFCSun with all 3 points after a great tussle. They came back from 1-0 and 2-1 down and eventually ran out 4-2 winners. All 4 goals scored by Connor Johnston. The win moves the lads back up to 2nd in the @OfficialSlcfl D1.

The 2nds have been really unlucky with their 1st round draws in outside Cup competitions. Yesterday in the Northern Cup 1st Round they travelled to Cheshire League L2 outfit @HartfordFCStags and suffered another heavy defeat going down 9-0. A couple of harsh lessons learnt.

Well 2 out of 3 wasn't bad. A bare 11 first team travelled to Windle and had to dig deep to come from behind to gain a deserved 2-1 win thanks to goals from Connor Johnston and Tom Gibbings. It was a well contested game with both sides having chances.t

No such drama for the 2nds as Shea McMullen grabbed 5 in a 10-0 over last seasons Division 2 Champions @BoltonYoungBoys Sunday's are back on form, they travelled to @FcWinkley and returned with all 3 points, @lukecollins63 & @jaymachell scoring in the 2-0 win.
