Organic chemistry finished up our holiday projects today. Benzoic acid snow globes and indigo tie dye! I’m so lucky to get to have these students for a second year. They are always excited to learn and it makes my heart happy!

Organic Chem had the best time today experimenting to determine what was causing the color change in these marshmallows! They discovered curcumin in tumeric was the answer without looking at the ingredients. Thanks @ChemEdX for the idea!!
