Look'ma! I can write in dot matrix style!.I made a React component that draws a series of dots. Based on a coordinate pattern, we can "write" any English letter by coloring the appropriate dots!.The cool part is that we can freely animate these dots. #React #svg #gsap

After all these years the Singleton pattern was considered an anti-pattern, now it is everywhere (web, mobile) as the de facto accepted pattern even if some still have the illusion that they use other patterns. If something is global and mutable, it's singleton. .

As a dev I will get grilled if a website is slightly underperforming but websites like Reuters get away with consuming 40% CPU over 250Mb of RAM, thousands of console logs, and a horrible horrible UI/UX (unless of course, you pay, even though the site is plagued with ads).
