Europe needs a new type of open social media: - Based on Mastodon's or Bluesky's AT Protocol - Filters out AI-generated content or Russian/MAGA propaganda - Actually restricts fake or bot accounts - Ads that are relevant to you and don't follow extreme political agendas
Europe needs a European social media platform based in Europe. We cannot keep relying solely on US and Chinese platforms for our content consumption, relations, and information. We cannot be confined to speak in a space that the owner can co-opt or shut down at any given time.
