After far too long a hiatus, it's been great to concentrate on PraxisLIVE for a little while. The first beta of PraxisLIVE v6 should be ready in the next couple of days.
PraxisLIVE v6 is coming! Finishing touches being made to the first beta release now. Please help with testing when its announced.

Today's a day for releasing IDEs! Built and announced @PraxisLIVE v5.7.0, followed by Apache @NetBeans 19-rc4 (our 4th and hopefully final release candidate).
New release! PraxisLIVE v5.7.0 is out now. This will be our last scheduled v5 release as we work towards v6 later in the year. #WriteNowRunAnytime. #Java #Processing #InteractiveProgramming.

If you're building a product on the Apache @NetBeans platform you really should be investing in its maintenance and development. If not directly, then with others who are. For example @codelerity can offer support and maintenance contracts, with suitable SLA.

100% this! After a lot of discussion, the new LTS-1 approach for base JDK support in future releases of @netbeans means we should be able to accommodate @ASFMavenProject moving to Java 17 for Maven 4.
