Agree with her completely,work-life balance is paramount!.BUT,.the jobs to applicant ratio in India is terribly skewed,unless you have an extremely unique skill set unfortunately this mindset makes you easily replaceable which is why people are compelled to work overtime.
This Gen Z employee’s stand against glorifying overtime got millennials and managers thinking.

We have a chain in #Odisha called Patra Electronics,they do almost all of the points mentioned. I have largely moved to them for my electronics needs over the last couple of years.
Went to croma to buy a fridge tdy. Saw a model I liked and wanted to finalise it. But saw that the same make of the same company was available on Amazon for 10k less. Also Amazon was delivering in 2 days and Croma in 10 days. When I pointed this out to the salesman he had no.

Since you are a doctor,all the more reason to learn the language of your patients.A tourist at worst will get fleeced,you not being able to communicate with your patients is much worse.I did my MBBS outside my state too,then it was just 15% AI quota,learned the language.

I think a better approach would be independent auditing of classes,rather than discourage attendance, increase the quality. I remember things taught a decade back!.The new generation deserves better teachers,the mushrooming of medical colleges isn't helping exactly. #MedTwitter.
Compulsory attendance is the shittiest rule in Medical Colleges. You are forcing students to sit in a class just so that an old disinterested professor will read out the slides from a presentation made by an already overworked resident. Let us choose whose class we want to attend.
