I told ya’ll that the author making Kazuya look like him was going to mark a mayor shift in the series. Now, this is probably the usual trope-y gag but it’s sending me how this happens shortly after the author fully self inserts. This is the greatest comedy in manga today

Some Invisigal scenes are weird to me because they imply she probably held her breath in for minutes. Just on the conference room she should’ve been passed out on the floor mid scene lmao

Plus, Visi is an emotionally distraught woman you're mentoring. Even though she jokes about it I would feel weird sleeping with her. Blazer is simply fresh off a breakup and is already rebounding on you hella fast WITHOUT any sex involved. Season one is just not the time.

If it IS true that originally there were sex scenes in Dispatch I think it's for the best that they got cut. Call me a square, but I don't feel like you really spend much time with either Visi or Blazer to merit that being anything other than a fling which defeats the purpose.

A predatory literal demon, a mass murdering psychopath superman, the satan of his universe and…a depressed girl with trust issues and low self-esteem. Truly, all pillars of evil pf comparable wrongness
Some of you defend characters that are terrible people with your life and that's weird. You'd justify Hitler if he was fictional.

What’s crazy is that if you choose to kiss her during the dinner date sequence she says something along the lines of “finally” or “about time”. You freak you were in a relationship back then and we’ve known each other for a few days HELLO??

Invisigal/Courtney brings the more emotionally charged route with really nice contrasting vulnerability but I quickly found out how Blazer/Mandy just holds you DOWN. She is a PARTNER through and through

Oh wow, more casual racism on the csm fandom over shipping discourse. That’s neat

While this is true to a point, and this may be unpopular, Robert is bigger and stronger than Visi. He always had the power to have the final say and end the situation. This is a very different situation from a woman being overpowered by a man or if it was a superpowered Blazer.
This completely proving the point that male SA do not get acknowledge enough in media and things like this just gets away so easily. If Robert was a woman in this situation we won't be hearing the end of it.

This is something that I REALLY like and respect about the Dispatch team. They handled the realities of mentoring a group of troubled individuals extremely well. From the dialogue of the people you cut, to Blazer and Visi’s own brands of dependency and the teams growth. Its Peak

In the end she makes progress but is not completely there. She becomes vocally supportive of your relationship with Blazer, if you choose that route, shows more honesty and actually starts to build a support system not just with you but with the whole team.

She makes inappropriate comments, essentially stalks you and even forces herself on you in ep. 7. Her feelings get out of control real quick and you have to be very careful on how to navigate that without shattering her.

This is a common occurrence with many mental health practitioners and mentors. There is a big risk of you becoming the center of a troubled individual’s life and in the game you have to navigate that.

The key point to look at is how quickly she goes from hating your guts to dreaming about you and developing an unhealthy fixation on you. Visi draws up an entire plan where she lies to everyone and risks throwing her life away, hoping to impress Robert and get his approval.

Through her many sex jokes and overall aversion to vulnerability or affection, you can tell she’s not equipped to properly process these situations. So she starts to fall for you, and you start to become the everything to someone who believes they have nothing.

As shown above. She’s a prime example of an individual going through a big transition in life. She’s unsure of even being capable of being anything other than a villain and she has little to hold onto but here comes Robert, a big deal hero who actually understands her.

The real genius of the writing team behind #Dispatch is with Courtney’s development. There’s small tidbits that say a lot about her and imply some sad context between the lines. Especially within the situation of mentoring vulnerable individuals.
