A new preprint led by @CajaDinesen exploring how surfactin shuts down the production of the RiPP Subtilosin A.
New exciting preprint by @CajaDinesen from the lab demonstrating how surfactin reduces subtilosin A production in Bacillus subtilis. Just look at this gorgeous MALDI-MSI on two colonies, and how surfactin diffuses and represses subtilosin A in srfAC colony.
