We need to destroy this idea that there's an expectation to achieve goals by a certain age. You don't need to be married with kids by 25. It's okay not to have graduated at 21 or not have your dream job at 30. Theres no rules to life, it's not a competition. Just live. ππβ€

As we continue to see disparities in maternal healthcare, it's crucial to work alongside community groups to tackle these issues head-on. Suppoting mental health plays a key role in shaping positive birth experiences. πΈπ§ #MaternalHealth #MentalHealthMatters #CommunitySupport

My colleague genuinely just asked me why there are parishes in Jamaica named after English towns. Lord he picked the wrong one cos the whole office has just been lectured about British colonisation. Everyone is now in silence

One of our Campaign Leaders, Neelam, supports @cystersgroup to provide menstrual, maternal and mental health help. Many community-led groups like Cysters provide vital services for people in their area, which is why we're calling for a Community Right to Shape Servicesπͺ

Two bits of advice on Manchester Airport incident 1. To those attacked by the police officer - get yourself another lawyer, one who specialises in such matters 2. To the officer -get yourself a lawyer- this will likely be a criminal prosecution not just police discipline matter

But an even bigger thank you to my husband Kal Shergill for being with me throughout the week, helping me advocate for myself at the hospital, looking after both me and Daya whilst I recover and re-adjust to life as the 3 of us.

Both me and Daya are doing well and recovering, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support from our family and friends, and especially my mummy. Because even when you become a mum, you still need your mum π§‘
