like i saw and loved the bad guys 2 and its characters, but i was a bit uneasy with the official mr wolf fursuit, both inherently and bc it was poorly made compared to fandom-made versions of the character.does this make sense? feel like i'm going crazy reading takes abt this.

i feel like there is a difference between anthro characters in media (which have existed long before the fandom) and corporations producing direct substitutes for participation in the furry fandom as it exists tbh.
I'm sorry, but i can never take those "companies are pandering to furries" type panic posts seriously, we're talking about people who would open their wallets immediately the moment they see something vaguely furry related.
