Excited for the launch of the Community of Practice on Citizen Engagement in Evidence-Informed Decision-Making in health! This initiative will help bridge the gap between research evidence and public input in shaping health policies happening on the 06th of December 2024.

As an EIDM evidence researcher, I believe that in EDIM it’s my commitment to support evidence informed decision-making to ensure that policies and practices are driven by credible research evidence, improving outcomes and fostering innovation.

This evidence's aim is to develop gender-sensitive policies and interventions that promote equality, empower all individuals, regardless of gender. I believe that Evidence for gender when done thoroughly and prioritised are key to fostering inclusive and equitable societies.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my colleagues, whose insights and contributions—whether intentional or not—have profoundly influenced and shaped my journey within the evidence-informed decision-making field, and has motivated me continuously.

The co-production model is developed by a government agency with the primary aim of enhancing state capacity and evidence use, not necessarily improving research use. Without collaboration there will be no continuous efforts achieved in evidence research.
