How to tell if you have received an automated call? A female voice called, asked about my housing problems, with no intro. I asked what problems, response was a variant of same question. Was she an AI chatbot? she said no. I asked about her problems. She thanked me and hung up.

I realise this is a broader issue: call centres that are not in the country they serve often lack empathy with the customer. It ends up being frustrating and portraying an image of poor customer service, while the call centre staff is just following process. #CustomerExperience.
@British_Airways your call centre in Delhi doesn’t seem to understand customer service or what happens at @HeathrowAirport. After 20 minutes getting nowhere with your call centre, I called Heathrow and the person on the end of the phone answered my question in 30 seconds!.
