Everyone is talking about specs. Pickle is talking about memory, context and continuity. If the tech matches the ambition, ‘soul computer’ might be more than a slogan it could be the next shift in personal computing.

Vibe coding isn’t about skipping engineering fundamentals, it’s about compressing the path to them. Platforms like Replit abstract setup, accelerate iteration and let learners focus on architecture, logic and feedback loops. That’s how you scale understanding not just ship demos.

Can @SHAQ vibe code an app with no coding experience? Vibe coding is easy to start with, but like any other skill, you can learn to master it. That’s why we partnered with @tadeoyerinde and the @campusgrad team to build Vibe Coding 101 for folks who want to master Replit.

This makes sense. General agents need serious infra, large scale training and tight integration with foundation models. Teaming up with Meta suggests Manus is optimizing for reliability, latency and real world deployment not just flashy demos.

A senior Google engineer released a 424-page doc called Agentic Design Patterns. Not a blog post. A code-backed curriculum on building AI agents: prompt chaining, memory, multi-agent coordination, planning, and guardrails. Free and worth reading.

Two great engineers, one clear signal: Software engineering is being rewritten by AI. The advantage isn’t typing faster. It’s knowing how to delegate, orchestrate and adapt to what models can do right now. The abstraction layer has shifted. Failing to adjust is a skill issue.

This is a strong example of LLMs moving beyond text generation into outcome driven systems. The gains come from combining personalization, multi representation learning and evaluation grounded in learning science not model scale alone.

TimeFusion’s strength is architecture not scale. Universal Tokens keep time series signals and language in one token space avoiding lossy text summaries. A ~2B model beating larger LLMs on sensor tasks shows signal level reasoning matters more than size #PhysicalAI #MultimodalAI

AI can make complex ideas feel obvious by spinning up clean simulations but that confidence can be misleading. A newer paper argues the effect may be collider bias not causality. If you don’t question the assumptions simulations will happily sell you the wrong story.

AI can help explain complex topics easily by throwing together a simulation. As Eric says later in the thread, a newer paper argues that this pattern is actually collider bias (the authors disagree). What is collider bias? Gemini one-shots an explanation: https://t.co/bYyCLldfcL

Raw intelligence isn’t bottleneck anymore. For real world work like C++ tooling and JIT compilers models are already smart enough. What matters now is latency, cost and context size 500k context window and faster inference unlock real tools That’s how LLMs become infrastructure.

Apple’s Face ID unlocks your phone using ~30,000 invisible infrared dots. It doesn’t take a photo. It builds a 3D depth map, processed by Apple’s Neural Engine and updated over time which is why it works with beards, glasses, or makeup. Source: https://t.co/VXfPK4BZ5H
