90% of walkers seen today were in black. Looks great but very hard for #mountainrescue to find you if you have a problem. One solution is to pop a cheap high vis vest in your rucksack for emergencies (or you could ask for a new brightly coloured jacket for Christmas 🎁😀) Zac

Tomorrow is the Allemuir Hill Race (one of our Carnethy club races), a great example of sustainable, inclusive, local hill racing - I love that all competitors must arrive by foot/bike/public transport :-) @CarnethyHRC

Just had excellent service from the (younger ....is that relevant?) staff at 'A Borders Hotel' Service so good, that I want to leave a tip; I've always done this discreetly and with cash. But, is that still acceptable? I've already paid the bill.
