After a year of thrilling moments, this was a fantastic punctuation mark. Onward to more adventures in 2020!.
Super proud of this segment on @TODAYshow Third Hour this morning. They called me a “mom on a mission to help families raise kind kids”. That feels right.

Just had the most extraordinary experience at @SubCulture_NYC seeing the incomparable @BettyBuckley with my all time favorite @MrJasonRBrown and it was perfection. Bonus to see it with my friend @babybluesnews and his lovely family. A special start to Thanksgiving week.

My 12 year old daughter understands foster care & adoption & wants to make the passage easier for these kids. She is supporting @TogetherWeRise for her bat mitzvah project. Because garbage bags are not acceptable carrying cases for all of a child’s possessions. We can do better.
Does your child know what foster care is? Do they have a negative view of the kids are in the system? Parents need to help change that narrative.

Grateful to @GrownandFlown for publishing this essay I wrote about the different experience we are having in the college search process the second time around. Different kids = different experiences. You parent the child you have.

We are experiencing the Mars/Venus of the college search or just wo very different individuals who engage with the world in totally different ways.

Running a 5K tomorrow and my playlist is heavy on @MrJasonRBrown and #BridgesofMadisonCounty (which is woefully under appreciated). After hearing @ShoshanaBean slay It All Fades Away @54Below, I’ve become a little obsessed. Is it weird to cry while running?.

Taking my daughters to see @ShoshanaBean at @54Below tonight (my second time) & I hope she sings “Don’t Rain on My Parade” bc my girl calls that her “signature song”. And also bc @ShoshanaBean kills it. And also because we watched “Funny Girl” last night in anticipation. NBD.
