Teaching students about forces. Why not create a mini putt in your classroom with a metre stick and a ball. Our record was 3 strokes. #STEAM #Grade3

What do you do when you have less students in class because of an increase in Covid cases at your school? You build bridges! #structures

Diyas represent enlightenment and knowledge. We did a google meet with a students mother who read a story about Diwali and shared how their family celebrates this holiday. She kindly donated clay diyas to our classroom that the students beautifully decorated.

With sensitivity, respect and empathy you can engage learners in all topics. Don’t underestimate their schema and experiences. How do we include student voice in every learning opportunity? #OrangeShirtDay

How do we share with students the importance of feedback? There is an impactful video called Austen’s Butterfly that can start the conversation with students.

In teaching, I often felt the “imposter syndrome” like many others. However, after reading this book, it reminded me how this mindset has driven me to look for new ways of thinking and learning. What ideas and pedagogical beliefs are you still holding onto?

Wonderful to see the government making educators are a priority for vaccines. In the TDSB, Phase two begins in April and will end in July. This is why educators are exhausted - where is the leadership and who is making these decisions?.

Cleaning a classroom requires care, time and many steps. Educators should be reminded of the campfire rule - leave the space better than you found it. 🔥🔥
