Here comes another UCD Pedestrian Plaza. This is the first one where the community came to us and said, can you help? We hope to add more of these in years to come to increase pedestrian safety on our streets #TacticalUrbanism #Placemaking #PedPlaza #NonPermanent.
We are working with members of the Spruce Hill Community Association to add a new pedestrian plaza at 43rd and Spruce Streets. Read more about the process, and how UCD feels pedestrian plazas are a solid and effective way of traffic calming:
