Fuck sound design. Sound design doesn’t mean shit in the grand scheme of things. I’m talking primarily about mixing down and having an ear for sonics. Sound design is the last thing you should pay attention to as a producer. But yes I agree, song writing is mad important
@Taiki_Nulight @dyzphoria I think sound design is handy, but with all the presets available nowadays, it's more useful to be a good songwriter and to be able to get the ideas down quickly (at least as a beginner). You are good at the bloops and stuff tho, so I can see why you're defending sound design.😁

In addition to payment and credit, artists would be wise to include their collaborators in their roll out plans. Provide featured artists, musicians, producers, and engineers with custom promo assets that highlight and celebrate their contributions to the music.

It’s always crazy to me when artists rush to release the music they worked so hard to create with no intention or thought. Not every release needs a 5 page marketing plan but it’s important to be intentional about releasing the art you spent money, time, and energy creating!
