When our grandparents came here as economic migrants in the 50s you could leave a job one day and walk into another job the following day. This is no longer the case. It’s difficult finding jobs for uk born folk never mind for anyone else.

It’s disturbing to see the state of the Punjabi Sikh female students in my city. They come here alone not knowing anyone. End up working in sheeshs bars or other factories dominated by non Sikhs. Only ever going to end one way
