Anyway, I agree with everyone who commented to say, get to know your partner and get them what they like - not what you like or dream they would like. I still maintain that most of what men like to be gifted is relatively expensive.

Clarification: A guy who cares for you will *usually* go along with it and appreciate your effort. I’m not saying that he must. If anything I hope guys are courageous in expressing their dissatisfaction towards a gift and I hope they express it kindly and with grace.
