Setting up #DefenderForIdentity sensors is easy, but configuring the necessary events and SACLs on AD can be time-consuming and require manual efforts. We will soon be releasing a PowerShell module that will simplify these, and more. Stay tuned. #MDI #M365D.

one of the most overlooked features in MDI. Countless of times when talking to customers and dealing with missed detections - this simple switch could've solve it.
Microsoft Defender for Identity (#MDI) has some built-in "static" detections that always work. But its great strength is in analyzing the #behavior of individual entities and reporting #anomalies. In fact, anomalies are what can differentiate a threat actor from a normal user.
