Back in Trondheim working with my worms πͺ±, but as a cuttlefish nerd, I wanted to share this cuttlebone artwork that I found on the beach back home (Terschelling, The Netherlands) π

MBL picked the coolest worm to feature today (but I might be biased) πͺ± It's a Tomopteris!
Did you know that July 1 is international polychaete day? Small marine animals with multiple propulsers, including polychaete worms, move by creating negative pressure behind them that pulls them through the water? The phenomena is known as "suction thrust." πΈ : Sean Colin

Two days full of worms!!! SO excited for the Platynereis Satellite meeting @EED2024 in Finland. (I am also excited about the main meeting but WORMS! Platynereis and friends!) We have an amazing line up with guests from other research organisms and annelids. I cannot wait.
