it's crazy, and interesting, how unpleasant that melody is. it's totally fine on its own, and those chords are great, but together they're in a mysterious space between fine and awful. it's almost impressive.

conversation at home tonight: "i mean... if those 'werewolves of london' chords weren't so famous (and great), a producer would have looked at kid rock and said "dude, that melody is really hurting those chords, they should sue" or something like that haha

it's clear that AI searches have an environmental cost. i was surprised when google started using it automatically for us even when we hadn't asked it to. i'm glad to have learned a simple and easy way to avoid that. just add "-ai" to the end of your search.
