In the end, a front desk employee had to use their badge to take me down the elevator, into the resident parking area and then open another garage door to get me to the public side of the ramp. Worst dollar saved, ever.

The door I had used to exit was locked from the outside. When I walked into the apartment lobby, I couldnāt take the elevator down to the ramp because it required a badge. And the doors to the stairs were locked.

In an effort to save $1 on parking, I parked in a fancy new apartment ramp downtown today. After paying by phone, I went on my way, happy to have saved a buck ā only to find out when leaving there wasnāt a way I could get back in to the ramp!.
