Seriously though macaque's lore is still super unknown despite five seasons going by, and the scrapped concept arts for s3 and the existing designs for the lego sets (that s5's finale seem to be hinting at) point to lore i cant take it anymore LMK SEASON SIX WHERE ARE YOUUU😭😭
It could be a similar power source, esp since macaque somehow breaks out of XL's vines the easiest and even cut off his connection to the "chaos" Maybe it involves the assumed person macaque made a deal with (but forgot?) As XL brings up. Mac & XL are shadow users (adjacent)

Sorry but Lego monkie kid fandom taught me that ship names don't have to be smashed names Lmk fandom cooked with their duo and ship names and it changed the way I name my ships
Ship names are their names smushed together and Duo names are words associated with them put together we're losing the ancient texts
