posting is actually such an extreme form of writing and thus an extreme form of critical thinking. to compress your thoughts into a single post takes practice, it takes skill, it takes thought. you don't have the luxury of fluff, you must be precise from your first word

advent of code day 6 complete. part two below my main takeaway of this year is that i'm writing this weird hybrid style of Rust that's mixing declarative and imperative styles. i fall back to imperative style when i don't know the correct iterator patterns

You remember COVID era censorship, right? They banned us from their apps. They deplatformed alternate views and tried to silence any form of opposition. That's why we built Unplugged. So when the chips are down, we know we have an independent platform that will have our back.

lot of people think ceos are on coke or stimulants because of how hyper they look in interviews but i think the unfortunate truth is that natural amount of energy is extremely unequally distributed

after each day i usually work with gemini to help me determine what i could've done better it's main critique was the long ass direction function which i also intuitively knew was stupid but was already on the path and didn't feel like thinking about it

basically just encapsulating your direction logic into a single function and writing a bunch of tests is the best way to do this. once you have that logic down and fully unit tested, you can do rely on it the rest of the way

aoc day 4 both parts done. this was definitely the easiest day so far. there is probably a more idiomatic rust way to write this
