When Class 1 told us it was their dream to meet dinosaurs we made it happen. The safari started off with a story, from Ryan our park warden, about two dinosaurs that had escaped! It was then down to the children to find them. 🦖 🦕

Thank you to Class 5 for organising an End of Year Quiz. Class 4 had a great time working in teams of mixed classes to answer a range of questions! ❓✏️

Class 4 went on a safari experience around the farm to stop the dinosaurs invading the school! 🦖🦕

Class 4 finished off our Viva La Mexico unit with a Mexican themed party. We played cactus hoopla, pin the tail on the donkey and enjoyed some Mexican snacks. We danced to Mexican music with our homemade maracas and whacked our homemade piñatas! 🪇 🇲🇽🌮

Class 4 spent some free time sitting in the sunshine playing games such as Uno and Rapidough 🃏☺️

This morning, Class 2 spent some time at the playground having fun pushing each other on the swing, getting dizzy on the roundabout and imagining they are pirates on the climbing frame.

Class 4 took part in fruit picking as our end of year trip. They worked in pairs to pick raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, red currants, black currants and gooseberries 🫐🌳

In this week’s Forest School session, Class 2 played a game of “John and the beanstalk”. Next they melted some chocolate over the fire ready to dip strawberries in, using a skewer, they were then dipped in marshmallows or sprinkles. Yum, yum. 🔥🍓🍫

Salsa making is underway! 🔪 🫑 🍅 .Class 5 are demonstrating great teamwork and knife skills.

Class 5 engaged in some cross-curricular learning at Morrisons this morning, combining their learning of money, Mexico and cooking, as they shopped for ingredients to make their own salsa.

In their last Brick by Brick Lego Therapy session, Class 2 created amazing freestyle builds. Working together in their groups, they role played using their fantastic imaginations.

Class 4’s theme this term is Viva La Mexico. To prepare for our Mexican Fiesta party next week, we have made maracas and sombreros 🪇 🇲🇽

In Maths, Class 5 have been problem solving with money. Today the class were assigned a budget to create their own parks! 🛝

This week, on the Farm, Class 2 are feeding and watering the chickens. They collected their eggs and then had a milkshake to cool down. 🐓🥚🥤

Class 2 visited Conkers today for their end of year trip. They started in the slash park then watched a film in the 4D cinema. Next, they followed the activity trail and Dino Dig. After lunch, the children braved the Barefoot walk, caught a train and played in the Adventure play.

Class 3 has been looking at ‘Commotion In The Ocean’ this half term. We have discussed the dangers of plastic pollution and were inspired to create some sea creatures using plastic. Here’s some of our amazing work! 🐟🦈🐳
