My mum’s passing to winning @MasterChefUK was exactly one year to the day. I definitely had an angel on my shoulder for that final cook! The whole experience was healing for me. Cooking the food from my past has helped me to live in the present. what a gift.

So hubby and I have been on the intermittent fasting train and it’s starting to pay off! I do 16/8 … I’m eating what I want. I’m not dieting or doing crazy workouts and I’m even starting to build a little muscle. which when you are over 50 is kind of hard to do. So … hurrah!
