Least involved was either person's reproductive capability. Point of this whole thread being that ultimately, sexual traits don't have as big of an impact on people's normal interactions as the assumed roles that get placed on them. Roles that aren't based on anything biological.

Their choice was entirely the result of the social category each was placed into by society and the expected roles of each. No genetic test was performed, no one checked for hormone levels. Not even consideration how much either person can lift.

Nothing about that interaction had anything to do with their sex characteristics. Or really anything "biological". The obvious choice would be the person who regularly trains to move heavy objects (she did the throwing sports in track)

Female friend is an athelete. Male friend has never worked out a day in his life. Some adults at the picnic need help moving some heavy stuff, come up to the pair and ask the guy to help move the heavy stuff and don't even consider asking the girl.
