It is an honor to work with @henrymcmaster & @BryanStirling to enact the Captain Robert Johnson Act. This tragic event has led to monumental changes in protecting the public. Capt. Johnson’s bravery and persistence is second to none!.
The use of cell phones by inmates to orchestrate crimes outside of the prison walls has become all too common, with devastating consequences. Today, I signed a bill combating this, making it a crime for inmates to possess cell phones and similar devices behind bars. Read more:.
