We often identify ourselves in terms of what we do, but what if our identities, our calling, our Purpose, all derive from who we're being? We discover our reasons for living in the living of life itself. And all of those pathways can point back to LOVE. If we choose it.

By living a life of listening we open ourselves up to finding not just an overall #Purpose but a moment-to-moment Purpose. A Purpose that emerges and falls away based on whatever is happening in front of us - in that moment.

We want to be a part of cause and effect because that is where connection lies- with everyone, everything and the whole universe. Causality is the connective tissue of all things, not agency.⁠

Freedom is like the bellows of an accordion. There's an opening and then a constricting. Each choice we make has an impact on cause and effect. Each choice we make becomes a cause and has an effect, and it also opens up new choices that weren't available before.

Where do we look for our hidden constraints? Like the fish who doesn't know it's in water, how do we find those hidden constraints for ourselves? I suggest looking at situations in which you feel triggered by something. That is where hidden constraints lie.

Let's talk about the constraint of reason. It's easy to think that logic and reason liberates us. They allow us to think grand thoughts and organize ourselves as a society, but just the notion of logic and reason is a constraint if you look at the nature of them.

What is something you desire freedom from right now? What is something that is no longer serving you that you'd like to leave in the past? What is something you'd like to place in the sand and walk away from?

When you're sailing there's one thing you don't have control over and that's the wind. The wind is the cause, and as the skipper of your sailboat (and of your life) you must harness this wind in order to keep sailing. But you can choose which direction to point your boat...

Our notion of free will resides within the constraint of cause and effect. There is nothing we can think of, individually or collectively, that would reside outside of cause and effect. Cause and effect is the governing principle of the universe.
