No Regatta Roulette for us tonight! . The Commons will be open for regular hours tomorrow, regardless of whether or not the races go ahead. Makerspace hours will be reduced to 12-3pm on Regatta Day.

We are closed today, July 1 🍁. If you need on-campus computing access, the Rotunda (under the university clock tower) is open until 2 am.

The QEII Library (including The Commons) and Education Commons will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, for the Memorial Day/Canada Day holiday. The Rounda will still be open from 7 - 2 am.

🌸Welcome to the Spring semester! Our staff are here to support you 7 days a week, although service hours are slightly reduced from the Winter. Before you head to the library (or our other Commons spaces), take a look at who's open, when!

At this point in the semester, our main lab can get crowded. Don't forget about our alternate study spots in the Rotunda (under the clocktower), Education Commons (in ED1008), & Hatcher Commons (in the Hatcher residence) - computers, comfy seating, and lots of access power!

Our team of student staff are pretty awesome. Not only can they hook you up with wireless and LabNet access, they can also teach you things like Excel formatting and photo editing!. Book your appointment with a peer tutor today!

Looking for a silent computing space? The Commons Classroom on the main floor of the QEII is a great spot, and you can use it whenever a library instruction class isn't in session. The room availability is updated daily on the monitor outside the door.

Presenting at a conference this semester? Our Plotter printer in the Digital Media Centre prints poster-sized jobs! Prices depend on size and type of paper, so email commons@mun.ca, or chat with a DMC staff member about your project.

We are open today! ☘️ Please note, though, that the Makerspace is available for reduced hours today: 12-3pm, only.

Not only do we have tons of cool gadgets in our Digital Media Centre, we let you take them out for free! Chat with a staff member and see if we have what you need - from DSLRs, to mics, to mini projectors.

Ramadan Mubarak! 🌙✨ The Makerspace is popping up in the QEII Library lobby today from 12-2pm with some special Ramadan-themed 3D prints and crafts. Come by and check it out!

Our tech workshops will be wrapping up in two weeks: make sure you don't miss the opportunity to get in on the action! From sewing to PowerPoint tips, we've got some good ones coming up. Workshops can also fulfill the requirements of the SVB's VIP! .
