Oh. My. Word. A hard reality check for the entire industry as a whole in my opinion. Only writers can push themselves to excellence, regardless of the publishing pathway they choose for themselves. It really is about creating everlasting stories in an ever changing world.
This is a phenomenal watch, and it unfortunately mirrors a lot of what I've witnessed in the indie space. The indie publishing sphere, free from the constraints of the gatekeepers in the traditional publishing industry, promises to produce works of better quality than these
