v3.2: modern, stable ZFS-on-linux. Seems like a great fs tbf, but I'd broken its notifications somehow, so one disk failed and I didn't know. Cue a second disk then failing, knew about that one, cause I lost all my data.

v3.0: ZFS on OpenSolaris. I'm not smart enough to sysadmin SunOS so I gave up. v3.1: ZFS on FreeBSD / early ZFS-on-linux. So. Many. Crashes. Durability was fine, availability not so much.

Thinking about it, running storage doesn't seem to be my strong point. Matt's NAS v1: XFS. Tbf, not advertised as suitable for a student house with dodgy wiring. Power cut lost all my data.
