It has been one week since Vincent officially joined the family- one day short of Motherโ€™s Day (talk about the best gift ever!!!) This little butterball has stolen our hearts already. We are adjusting to life as a family of 3 and enjoying every minute of it.

When your nephew turns one โ˜๏ธ and has a โ€œWhere the Wild Things Areโ€ party, you of course have to make him a monster cake. Canโ€™t wait for him to smash into this later ๐Ÿ‘‘ #wildONE

I know many of my friends think teaching middle schoolers must be especially tough, but sometimes they show you how thoughtful and kind they can be! ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ’™

When you start accumulating assets elsewhere or are approaching retirement, it may be worth examining whether you should part ways with your target date fund.

Another great discussion tonight on how to move educators and leaders through professional learning! Now, just adding the finishing touches to my portfolio can wait to share and exchange stories on Monday #AspiringSBTS

When coaching adult learners, it is better to SHOW than TELL- model how tech can take things off of teacherโ€™s plates instead of adding to them. #AspiringSBTS

Working on writing DBQs in AP World and students really seemed to like these document placards so they could sort and group documents to help them organize their claims.

Big takeaway from tonight's session is how important relationship building is in our professional communities. Showing others you care to build trust is the first step if wanting to implement change. #AspiringSBTS

Here is a link to my Pear Deck presentation. I used Stanford History Education Group's materials for Wilson's speeches. https://t.co/9IxIzdWEdt

Using @SHEG_Stanford lesson on WWI with @PearDeck to get Ss thinking about how Wilson went from "keeping us out of war" to asking for a declaration of war Comparing his two speeches as primary sources, using digital tools, will help Ss engage! #primarysources #edtech

As I am sipping my coffee, I am reflecting on my discussions with colleagues from last night. My biggest takeaway- Technology isnโ€™t the agent of change, people are the agents of change. Ready to take on my day as a change-maker ๐Ÿ‘ #AspiringSBTS

FYI You can print your @Quizizz or turn them into PDFs. I like that I can hide the distractors. It then becomes a guide for students while reviewing the video & their slides. Then when they are ready they can take the actual auto-graded Quizizz.

Starting #WWI today. It is one of my favorite units as a teacher, because it was one as a student I found so challenging. How does the assassination of an Archduke lead to global conflict?... We are about to find out!
