A legendary civil rights campaigner in Bristol, Stephenson led the Bristol Bus Boycott in 1963, amongst other campaigns which were instrumental in paving the way for the first Race Relations Act in 1965.

We're saddened to hear that Paul Stephenson OBE has died at the age of 87. Here he is on the 40th anniversary of the Bristol Bus Boycott with Roy Hackett, Tony Benn, the then Lord Mayor and Guy Reid Bailey in 2003.
