For one of the most regulated sectors in the country, enforcement of skilled nursing care rules can vary wildly depending on location. Transparency and predictability are crucial so providers can give the best care possible.

Senior care providers are held to the highest standard when it comes to what they do. The people who enforce those rules should be too. Huge variations in fines and enforcement aren't fair to the people who care for the most vulnerable.

Both Republicans and Democrats can agree that seniors shouldn't be the target of cuts. Medicaid funds numerous senior services and those funds would be cut under this regulation. Grandma and grandpa deserve better!
