Here is the summary. Lipids are complex molecules crucial for life. MS-DIAL 5 enhances in-depth structure elucidations and the spatial mapping of lipidome. Using advanced techniques, we uncovered new insights into the biosynthetic pathway of eye-specific phosphatidylcholines.

MS-DIAL team uploaded the latest version of ms-dial 5 (5.1.230222). Also, our team put the source code on the github by the help of @kozo2 Kozo Nishida and Yuki Matsuzawa!

Hi ms-dial users: We released the latest version of MS-DIAL 4/5 today. Many features in MS-DIAL 5 were updated, and the lipid nomenclature systems were modified in both 4/5 programs to follow the definition of LIPIDMAPS.

As a tutorial of ms-dial 5, we prepare youtube videos here. This does not contain the tutorial of all functions yet. Please let us know what you need in the tutorial, and we will prepare it asap!

In addition, we would like to announce our latest preprint showing a lipidome landscape of aging in mice where MS-DIAL 4 series (having enhanced lipidomics database) was used.

We uploaded the latest version (v5.1.221118) of ms-dial 5 which is very stable for use. Although GC-MS function is still not available yet, we hope that you enjoy omics science with our tool!.
