Criticism on the 27th Constitutional Amendment - my take :- The amendment is about **modernisation and clarity**, not concentration of power. *Purpose of the Amendment* ▪ The 27th Amendment aims to modernise defence management in line with global military models. 1/16

Secondly , why should Indians think US is ignorant about Pakistan’s subsurface resources ? US has much better means compared to India. Thirdly , why stay possessed with Pakistan ? Concentrate on your own issues . 2/2

There is an uproar in India on Pak -US trade deal particularly the agreement to jointly exploit massive oil res in Pak. Indians think there are no such res. Firstly , India must walk the talk and abide by what Jaishankar said , ‘Think out Pak ‘. Why worry about what Pak does 1/2.

Major power status for a nation state is all about resource base and power potentials. ‘Great Power’ status is all about state’s conduct . I wish India to be a great power. Indians need to wake up and aspire for the same and not for India to be a future regional bully.
