Heads of departments in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities present their departmental activities to delegates from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

On day two of their visit, the @nche_uganda delegates are at the Kakeka campus to continue their assessment.

A team from the National Council for Higher Education @nche_uganda, led by Dr. Ronald Bisaso from MUBS, visited the main campus of MRU in Kirumba, Masaka. The purpose of the visit is to engage with university community to review our performance and provide guidance.

I was pleasantly surprised today by a visit from some lovely young ladies from the Netherlands. They are captivated by the university's atmosphere, its environment, and especially by the portrait of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, which was painted by one of our students.

The work that @EcoBrixs is doing is truly inspiring. Transforming plastic waste into valuable construction materials like bricks, pavers. This kind of innovation is essential for our planet's future, and it's a model of how creativity and conservation can go hand in hand.

I was truly impressed by the presentation from MADDO officials. It's great to see that the organization's objectives have been consistently improving since 1990s. I'm especially pleased that with rapid population growth, the youth are also being included in MADDO's future plans.

I have an exciting workshop today with our partners, focusing on "Sustainable Land Use and Rural Development in the Greater Masaka Region." I'm thrilled to see the innovative environmental conservation methods they're using.
