Nope Noise cancellation is actually beneficial for your hearing by cutting noises specially in public places. It's the LOUD MUSIC WHICH IS DAMAGING YOUR EARS!!!.
Girls says he has 20% hearing loss due usage of Air Pods. She also adds that the noise cancellation feature is also a reason which damages the ear nerves. I guess people who use it for many hours a day will face such issues and that to on high volume.
