@mrjamesob They're not even making the slightest effort to hide it now, are they? Full-on Trumpism... impervious to attack, prosecution, being held to any account. Just flat-out lining the pockets of themselves and their donors/supporters. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss..."

@mrjamesob Someone should table a written question. "To avoid possible perceptions of self enrichment & treason, would the minister detail his, and his associates' including Mr Crispin Odey and Odey Asset Management, financial gains from the mini budget, Brexit and other government etc etc"

@mrjamesob If an MP claims for phone bill expenses - are we able to compel the MP to hand over phone records? I’d be interested to see who was contacted prior to the short sell? Especially as gov won’t release forecasts - is this insider trading with front bench cooperation & corruption?

@mrjamesob If this was Africa, South America, Asia we’d całl it, rightly, fraud and corruption. We’d say it’s a banana republic. Well, it’s not. It’s the UK. And it is fraud. It is corruption. It is a banana republic

@mrjamesob That smacks of insider trading (or do I mean 'stinks of'?). An MP, now chancellor, advising a billionaire currency speculator on what policies the government will follow.

@mrjamesob What a time to be a hedge fund manager 2016 opened up a whole new ball game to those who gambled on events but used the government to reduce the risk?

@mrjamesob It's sounding very much like his budget is not a gamble at all, but a deliberate attempt to crash the pound so his company can make gains betting against it.

@mrjamesob You couldn't make it up. The Tories are probably banking on destroying the economy so when they lose they and the right wing media will blame all the problems on the new government. Sadly many people will forget their shambolic governance over the past few years and believe them

@mrjamesob Anyone done the maths on this? If they leveraged 100% of their fund at 100x (unlikely they could get their hands on that), a 2% move down in GBP would cause it to soar 200%, but no trader, less a business would do that without inside info. 2-3% risk per trade is max

@mrjamesob Can this be legal? That the Chancellor of the Ex who yesterday brought in a budget that crashed the £ & the markets is a consultant for a hedge fund that made a fortune following said budget?

@mrjamesob The Tory party MPs are nothing better than an organised crime syndicate. Skimming off the top at every opportunity. Finance institutions get huge fines and criminal records, rightly so, for this type of scamming. All in it for personal wealth ops. #TorysOutQuickly

Is this a good use of borrowing? Will this improve investment? Will this keep the £ strong in relation to the $ ? (important as we buy much of our energy in $) thus Will it keep our energy prices low helping consumers manufacturers or those thinking of investing? No No No No
