This is a really special team. I’ve never seen an Eagles team put on a stretch drive like this one. True they needed some breaks but how many times have we watched kickers dash our hopes at the end of games? Doug Pederson is a winner and Nick Foles has unshakable poise. Wow!

I haven’t felt this much excitement surrounding an Eagles’ game since the Super Bowl. It’s at home. Their season is on the line and it’s Dallas. I know the Cowboys have an advantage in some areas but Eagles fans will rock the Linc creating a frenzied atmosphere.

Sitting on the bus to the airport still catching my breath after the Eagles season changing dramatic win. So many big moments but the biggest play (in my opinion) was Miles Sanders 68 yard kickoff return. That brought them to life after a terrible start. Pass coverage a concern.

I’ve never met a player who handles himself with more class than Nick Foles. He gives everything he has whether in the film room, on the practice field, or in a game. Win or lose, as a starter or as a back up he is always the same down to earth easy to be around person.

A few observations after watching football all day.
The are NO dominant teams (even New England). They all have weaknesses. The Eagles are as good as anyone.
The games are being over officiated. Interference and holding calls are destroying the rhythm of this great sport.

This was a devastating loss. The Eagles defense is totally ineffective. I came into this game optimistic. Felt good at halftime with a 21-6 lead and then crash. You can understand losing to the 49ers or to Dallas on the road but to lose to the 3-12 Cardinals is just awful.

I hope that everything works out for LeGarrette Blount to return to the Eagles. Not only is he a tough, powerful running back, he’s an absolutely terrific guy. He’s upbeat,
positive...extremely personable. He adds a lot to that locker room.

I can’t believe the Houston Texans fired David Culley after one year.He had a weak roster, no starting caliber quarterback yet his players gave total effort until the very end.

When Jalen Mills arrived here there was talk of off the field issues at LSU. He turned out to be a very solid locker room guy who treated everyone with respect. He was also very coachable and gave everything he had as both a corner and a safety. I’ll miss the “green goblin”.

This should have been a win. The Eagles got off to a quick start, took a 10-0 lead and then never scored again. If you told me that they’d hold the Patriots to 3 field goals, one touchdown and a 2 point conversion I’d have figured on a win.

Very pleased with the selection of Jalen Reagor. He’s an explosive receiver with great versatility. He’s the son of former NFL linebacker Montae Reagor and he will not be wide eyed when he arrives. He’s extremely poised and confident and he absolutely loves to play.

Heartbreak in Atlanta. The Eagles shook off a terrible first half, played without several of their key weapons, actually took a fourth quarter lead and ended up falling short. The Eagles continue to sleep walk through the first quarter and give up too many big plays.

Yes there was the expected rust but once Wentz and Jackson hooked up on a 51 yard touchdown they overcame a 17 point deficit and never looked back. It may take this team another game or so to kick into high gear but they are really really good!

I think back to Alshon Jeffery’s TD catch in the Super Bowl and some of his other receptions this season. He showed such great extension. It’s remarkable that he was playing with a torn rotator cuff. That is an example of the toughness and dedication characteristic of this team.
