Incorrect. Tabraiz isn't an uncommon name amongst desi's, as Shaykh @tabrazeazam can attest. His last name is the family name, his father is Javed Shamsi
There’s a South African cricketer named Tabraiz Shamsi — a clear case of getting Shams-e-Tabrizi slightly tangled. Either his father mixed up the order, or the hospital staff did. I simply refuse to believe the man was named after an Iranian city.
